The magnets are weak and the arm is dangling
Today's phones are 6.5 inches and most of them have wireless charging. Therefore, you need to place the plate off-center on the bottom of the phone for the Q charger to work. This means you need a strong mount and strong magnet. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone which plates are at the bottom. I have found other companies that use stronger magnets to hold the phone vertically or horizontally but this is not possible with my Samsung Galaxy N20 without a case.
