We already have a similar set of two walkie-talkies, but there is no battery in the kit. After tuning these 3 to the same channel we had a working set of 5. I will be using them when my kids have friends over. In the past they would leave the flashlight or walkie-talkie function on and the batteries would be dead the next time they played with it, so I'm glad they come with rechargeable batteries. Charging is good as all 3 radios can be charged at the same time. As I've shown, they also work great with regular batteries. Bracelets are good as not all similar products come with them. I also really like the pattern and the colors because they are neutral. Update 11/1/19 - maybe I got a defective kit but mine didn't last long on a charge. I'm not sure if it was a problem with the charging cables and plug or the batteries. I returned the kit and opted for a regular set of walkie talkies instead and maybe I'll just use regular rechargeable batteries in them.
