Much nicer than regular winter boots. They are thin enough for my son to wear to elementary school and still walk as much as he can. They are not bulky and offer good grip when walking on slippery surfaces. They aren't fully waterproof so I assume if your feet are completely covered in snow your feet will get cold while sledding or whatever but they are great for everyday winter use. Definitely recommend. We ordered them in my son's current shoe size and they fit great with enough room for decent socks.
