They are very quiet even at maximum volume. They literally have no bass, I mean none at all. On the few occasions it decided to turn up the volume a little, the sound was absolutely amazing. When you play a song that has a bit more bass, it immediately starts out static and keeps dropping out. You can hardly tell how the song is playing. I haven't had a chance to try the headphones yet, but I don't have high hopes for them. died. I turned it off and charged it for a while and then unplugged it. When I turned it on, or tried to, I have to say, it was dead dead, or at least not turned on. I can't stand speakers or headphones that don't hold a charge. There's no reason for them to turn off when they're off. I like that most of my music is loud, some if not most also has some or a lot of bass. It was somewhere beyond disappointment. I rarely regret buying something if it's useless in one way, it's usually useful in another way. It has absolutely no redeeming qualities. I can only use it in a semi-quiet room and on songs with little to no bass. That doesn't mean I'll never be able to use it, but it does mean a very limited time and place. It's gotten over 1 or 2 just because it plays when soft songs or songs with no bass sound good when it's quiet enough in the room. It works late at night when the house is quiet when it normally turns off before bed. Unfortunately it doesn't work for what I use them for or what I need them for. This is very discouraging.
