THESE SANDALS HAVE SOME ISSUES TO CONSIDER

I LOVE THESE SANDALS. PROS: I love that these sandals are totally waterproof. I keep them "ready" at the front door. For the street in the yard. Work in the garden. toward the beach. or put them on quickly when running out of the house on a slightly rainy summer day. CONS: One issue I find with some Sketchers sandals (and I've had quite a few over the years) is that the "peg" portion (which runs between the toes) feels more recessed (towards the foot), what he should be . This creates unusual positioning that takes some getting used to and really impacts sizing and fit decisions. The positioning/angle of the rear straps means that your entire foot rests further against the sole than with most sandals: the result is more extra room beyond the toes than necessary and takes some getting used to. ALSO: (again due to the angle and position of the strap) the entire foot is pushed back than normal, the heel is very close to the back edge of the sole, and the heel of the foot doesn't land exactly where most people sculpt want insole. I happen to have a foot that adjusts to most sizing patterns on all types of shoes. So noticing this positioning issue means to me that people with feet that require a narrower/more regular fit may have trouble wearing this sandal.
