As baseball fans, my husband and I thought this was the right way to make a little discovery for our last child. We already have 2 girls. This ball is heavy (for what it is) and very durable. My husband hit it right and there was hardly any bang, we were able to keep the ball almost completely as you can see in the photo. It didn't create the big cloud of blue dust I was imagining because it barely broke and left more in the ball and on the ground. He didn't even see what color it was until he looked back. I mean if you miss and it hits the ground it definitely won't break. But it worked and we finally had our boy! - Clean the balls with paper towels or something else because some dust will remain on them after filling and sealing.
