Received two of these lights as a promotion and the first one didn't work properly (turned on and off but had no light or motion sensor). - sensory functions). The second works perfectly and I am very happy with it. I use it in a relatively large gun cabinet and it works very well as an automatic and wireless light source. When I open the safe it turns on and after a few minutes turns off again. The light is bright white and definitely bright enough to illuminate what I need. I also tested this in a small bathroom and it worked really well. I think it will work just as well in a closet. However, for something large like a garage or shop, you might need more than one or the other. As listed, the light bar comes with magnets and tape. It's relatively easy to install anywhere, but you'll have to choose how you want to mount it, as the tape is thick enough that the magnets are a small distance from the device to the surface you're sticking it to. As such, I would recommend that you decide whether to use duct tape or magnets and not try to use both at the same time. Overall, I am very satisfied with the lamp and can recommend it.
