It does exactly what I wanted to make my house smell clean, not the smell of my pets. If anything, the smell was too strong even on the lowest settings, causing my SO to separate it from the wall from time to time. Also, you can get an odor on your hand when replacing the filler, and then the laundry smells will haunt you for the rest of the day.
