After a month of searching for the perfect stainless steel cookware set for my daughter's multifunctional kitchen from PBK, I jumped at the chance and did the "Let's play with Melissa and Doug" after reading the only review that gave it 3 stars because of the size. This seemed to be the biggest complaint about almost any metal cookware you can find online. The product descriptions on Revain and other websites don't include dimensions. For those who want detail, the pots and pans are 5" in diameter from rim to rim. They are about 1-2" larger than most kits and the parts are 1-2" smaller than PBC parts, which is plenty I was originally planning to buy a stainless steel set sold by PBK, but when I saw the pots in person I decided it was too big en to go all out. - a kitchen and they were too long to hang on the display hooks above the mini sink in the kitchen. I checked out the Alex Completer kitchen set at my local toy store and thought the pieces were tiny and fragile, but cute. I was concerned about other sets that Alex would like. I considered the Kidkraft set after reading the positive reviews, but I didn't want/need the in-game food that came with it; Also, I prefer wooden utensils as some reviewers said the metal utensils in the Kidkraft set are too sharp. Another reason I chose this set is the mini colander. e and a decent size for Haba toys. The storage shelf and presentation make this a perfect gift set. I know my daughter will love mommy-like cookware and I am very happy to have found a quality product that is free of toxins or peeling paint and is large enough to "wash" and "cook" food , but not so big .big that it dwarfs my daughter's play kitchen (similar in size to the Kidcraft retro kitchen). Good product. Highly recommended!
