Review on ☕ Chantal Lotus Ceramic Pour Over Coffee Dripper - 8 Ounce, Blue Cove: Perfect Brewing with Ceramic Excellence by Kim Major

I had to order this product without much market research because my friend broke the product I have been using for a long time (bought from a coffee boutique in London, England) and I only drink morning coffee at home. Since my old one was broken, I was looking for a bit of strength as a key feature, also in ceramic form. (I refuse to use a plastic filter for health reasons.) I've been using the filter for over a month now. When it arrived I was a bit surprised by the size of the filter. It was much larger than the ones I've had in the past, although both filters are #2 paper filter sized. Also, the filter was a lot heavier than what I've had in the past. For those of you with a weak wrist, this might be something to consider. It's too heavy not to use, but not as light as a feather and definitely heavier than some of the other popular ceramic filters. So the most important thing: coffee. I specifically wanted a filter with more than one hole at the bottom because I don't like the idea of a hole. This one has two (maybe that's why I bought it). Because the holes are a bit smaller compared to my previous one, the coffee comes out a bit slower, but not too slow. It takes about 10 seconds to fill a 12 ounce mug. What I really like about this filter is the sight hole that tells me exactly how much water to put in the filter. This makes stuffing a lot more comfortable as I don't have to worry about under- or over-filling. This is a really good filter and I am very happy with my purchase. The only reason I gave it four stars is its size (takes up some space in my closet) and weight. Since I wanted a more durable ceramic, I guess I should have expected it. However, I have wrist issues and do not prefer heavy objects. For those who don't have space or weight issues, this is the perfect filter for a delicious homemade cup of coffee.
