Review on 🍲 SEO-Optimized Duralex Clear Bowl: Stackable Food Service Equipment & Supplies by Mike Devine

Ideal bowls for cooking and snacking. Wide range of sizes for practical use.

I have always loved these durable, very practical cooking bowls. I also use them to snack on nuts and chocolate chips. (The 3-inch size is perfect for this; keeps me from eating a pound of pistachios in one sitting!) Duralex-Lys offers multiple sizes that allow me to pre-measure ingredients. Works very well for liquid, solid, or ground/ground ingredients, from small amounts of spices, extracts, oils, etc. to larger amounts of ingredients. Their shape is perfect, with the right curve and no inner rim to prevent easy spilling of liquid or ground ingredients. I have no problem getting everything out of the cooking bowl. Unlike most glass bowls, they're pretty durable. They can break, but not as easily as other brands. I dropped a few of them and they held up. Two of them have broken in the last 10 years. Not fragile like many glass bowls. I used heat-resistant pudding molds, which a lot of people seem to like, but break easily and don't empty. I don't need to put the Duralex Lys trays in the oven, so I can't comment on their effectiveness when baking or overheating. Also, it would be unwise for small bowls to attempt to take small hot bowls of liquid out of the oven. Other brands have a lip that even a silicone spatula can't pull off to pour ingredients into the mix. I've used them of various sizes for many years and they remain one of my most trusted kitchen tools.
