I bought these for my medium sized heating pad to match the wattage bulb that came with it etc. The bulb I received is actually smaller although the same wattage and it really has that melted wax. But it lasted maybe 5 hours and exploded. The used bulb is all gray-black and "burned out" inside. It doesn't make me feel safe!
