This case has a good design and belt loops behind the clip that allows you to wear it horizontally or vertically. I bought this case for my Samsung S8 which has a two piece Otter Box case and although it fits the phone is very loose there. Since my phone has an Otter Box case, there is about 1/8 inch in the case on the front and sides of the phone, so the phone moves a little in the case. I think this might work better if you're using something like a Life Box or a thicker or heavier case than the Otter Box on your S8.
