car. It fits perfectly into the under-dash fuse box without having to force it in. The cover that was on the fuse box was not reinstalled after installing this fuse tap, but the cover showing the location of the fuses lives well in my glove. I have now removed the 15A fuse that came with this faucet and installed a 2A Bussmann fuse in its place. The fuses perfectly match the faucet. I verified the correct orientation of this fuse tap in my fuse box by ONLY installing this additional circuit fuse in the tap (the other fuse location was left blank). I plugged it into the fuse box and turned the key to the 'on' position to see if the USB port charger had power. I had power on the first try! I then installed the original fuse (which was removed from the car's fuse box) in the second fuse slot on the fuse tap to return power to the cigarette lighter port. It's a lot easier than trying to connect wires to your car's wiring. .
