First, my neighbor has a wireless Furion system on the 45ft fifth wheel of a toy tractor where the monitor is 55-60ft from him. Camera His system works great (great reception, good refresh rate, easy installation as most trailers these days come pre-wired with the Furion). The installation also looks very professional. However, I wasn't impressed with 1st price, 2nd monitor size, 3rd image quality so I decided to give XROOSE a try. What I like about XROOSE: 1. price 2. monitor size 3. picture quality. Yes, any complaints I had with Furion seemed to be resolved with this pack. Overall this seems like much better value for money, assuming the quality/reliability factor isn't too much of a difference. Time will tell, but I'm happy to bet on this product for now. Here are my requirements. with XROOSE:1. Reception - Initially there was a very poor signal with a terrible connection causing me to keep losing video. They claim 100 feet but I had trouble with less than half of that. I ended up having to position the camera over where I wanted the Furion to fly to open the antenna as wide as possible given the 2 signal strength bars that only seem to turn off when I'm very close to buildings or places where I am which other signals could interfere. It hasn't passed out on the street, where it matters. I contacted support and they sent a more powerful antenna with a magnetic base and a 10ft roof mount cable (not sure if it's an RV or a tractor yet). I haven't tried the new antenna but it looks like it should be much better. I'll update once I reattach it to both the van and truck with the new antenna to see what works best. 2. No Furion adapter as a standard feature/option. I used a 1x4 piece of poplar and ran wire duct out of the back and painted it black to make the neck look a little less red than it really is. I have used this both to mount the camera and to cover holes in the camper (after removing the Furion mount - you cannot mount this camera directly on the Furion mount as the standard antenna gets in the way of the housing). If XROOSE provides an adapter and/or an upgraded antenna, they can solve the reception problems that I and others have complained about and make installation easier for customers, less drilling or covering holes.3. Documentation - the product is good, the price is great and I have great customer service. But like many Chinese companies, the documentation and communication before and after the sale is pretty ridiculous (at best, this can jeopardize the credibility of the brand. I took a chance, and maybe it's just a model. However, it seems that some Chinese Businesses could increase their sales by spending a little more on marketing/branding/instructions.As part of my order, XROOSE sent a notification via email about a free gift they can redeem.Very nice that they will surprise me with this one Gift but I'm not entirely sure what it is or what features it has based on the description.I will also review once it arrives.Seems like a way to connect a phone to a car stereo for older cars that don't have android /apply play That I don't know if it handles sound for music and calls I think I'll find it's free is, I'm not complaining, just want to emphasize. If I were in charge of the customer relationship/marketing communication touchpoints, I would explain the functionality and how it outperforms the competition.
