Been watching this for a long time. It just seemed like a nice little pen holder and I wanted to replace another pen holder I have that isn't as sturdy. When I first received it I was a little confused as I didn't notice it. comes in two parts: knight and stand. I was a bit confused when assembling it as it was clear that the parts didn't fit together exactly. The knight leaned to one side. It wasn't until I went back to the listing and found that the description mentions glue that I found out. So I bought some super glue and glued it together. While it worked, I think it's more of a workaround than how the item should be marketed. If glue is needed for this, the glue must be in the box. But I'm a bit confused as to why this even needs glue. If the knight's legs matched the holes in the base better then no glue would be needed. You can simply adapt the base to the end caps on the knight's legs and you're done. Considering how sturdy the knight and base look, it was a little disappointing to find that the attention to detail didn't extend to the legs that attach to the base. However, after you glue the legs to the base, it becomes very difficult. attractive stand. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but it's definitely not bad. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a pen holder. It's a good stand if you know what you're getting into. It's a little harder to recommend as a gift. I think this would make a great gift for someone who uses a pen a lot or has a collection of pens. But I think if you're buying this as a gift, you should probably take it out of the box, assemble it, and rewrap it yourself. It takes too much assembly to be a gift that you just wrap up and give to someone as is. However, you make yourself four stars as a gift. :)
