I have 20 inch calves so I bought size L/XL but they are so much smaller than they say a friend with SMALL calves bought them from me - to them to be used as compression stockings! very disappointed as I wanted colorful patterned socks to wear with shorts in summer. This is the second company I've tried, so I'll drop it and go to my local pharmacy, which also sells DME (Durable Medical Equipment): I don't know if socks fit that definition, the pharmacy I mention, has socks and other medical supplies in the same area. Pharmacy doesn't have bright colors or patterns so I have to settle for plain black or white instead of independent pharmacy has significantly higher prices. At least by buying local guarantees they fit me the correct size of socks or stockings what my I think one reason is why I have to pay more.
