I've had no luck at all with straps, too long or too short, I rarely find a middle ground. This belt solves my problem, the clasp is easy to use but secure. I'm not afraid of this buckle failing under pressure like traditional cloth belts usually do. It worked right out of the box. I'm a tall guy so mine didn't have to be cut before use. I think I've found my new everyday belt.
