Review on ASUS VivoBook Display Windows M1502IA AS51 by Adam Szepietowski ᠌

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I bought this laptop to replace my zenbook 15 with a gtx1650 on board. Because The Zenbook only had 8GB of RAM and there is no way to expand it. In this version, 16GB, but also without the possibility of expansion, but the RAM is 2 times more. In the modern world, 8 GB is too little for work. You open the IDE, launch the dev server, browser, and almost all 8 GB are used, and if you also run a virtual machine . In general, in this version the flight is excellent, the processor is enough for the eyes, the memory too. I rarely play, but it happens, so I was looking for a laptop with a good card, but in a strict design (this is extremely important for me, I don’t like laptops with a gaming design) In order for the fingerprint scanner to work, I had to install a driver (all drivers are on the Asus website). Immediately after I received it, I changed the ssd (it is m2 format) to 1tb from my asus zenbook, Windows immediately installed drivers for all equipment (except for the fingerprint sensor). There are no complaints about assembly at all: it was quite difficult to open it, the gaps are minimal, but the disk itself changes without any problems, there are no backlashes either. To open, be sure to use only a plastic special spatula (or iron, but without sharp corners, as it is easy to damage the plastic on the back cover) In size: standard laptop 15th diagonal. After zenbuk, of course, a little big, but not critical. In size, it is very close to the MacBook Pro 16 2022, but just a little smaller. Charging via type-c is just a must-have feature for 2022+ laptops, and it's here. A 90+ watt unit is enough to charge with your head, you can buy a docking station to which you can connect an external monitor, the laptop will simultaneously display an image and charge, but if you want to play, you will have to connect the bundled charger. Conclusion: for 57k just a great device that covers all my needs.

Pros
  • 144Hz screen, video card and processor, fingerprint sensor, camera shutter, nice key travel, build quality, numpad, large touchpad, type-c charging.
Cons
  • Marked plastic (in the blue version), small light spots in the corners (but whatever they are - you have to choose the option with oled), does not pass the "macbook test", unlike my zenbook), stickers with information about the functionality of the laptop . How long will they be sculpted on all non-apple laptops?
