We recently discovered that our little one has a high instep and as a result we shoved his feet into all of his shoes even though his toes didn't reach the bottom of the toe box. I didn't want to constantly downsize him and put him in shoes that were too long just so we could snap a pair on top of his foot. After some research I read that New Balance toddler shoes are some of the "deepest" shoes available for toddlers at a reasonable price. I bought it 6.5t wide - just half a size larger than normal for him to grow in. When we first put it on it was amazing that we didn't have to squish our heel into the boot! Finally we have shoes that fit him. Now we will buy New Balance for him. I just wish the prices were more consistent across brands.
