Review on 🔧 Spectre Performance 585 Valve Cover Gasket – Steel and Rubber Reinforced for Enhanced Durability by Mark Adlesh

I have a stock Chevy cast iron block with aluminum rocker covers. I had to file the corners of the gaskets to ensure a tight fit. If I didn't do this, the valve cover would press against the edge of the gasket, making it a poor seal. These pads are well made but I feel there is too much extra rubber on the corners. Filed a bit and then pressed into place, cap tightened, they appear to be working as there are no leaks.
