The style of men's shoes these days is long and pointed and they are very similar, if not quite as much as some. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10. The tens I have are long but fit well even with thick socks in width. They do, however, dangle by the heels, which slide up and down as you walk. Size 9.5 is not offered but would probably fit better. The insoles are soft, hard, and thin, except for the heel area, which is heavily padded. Very soft arch support. The insoles are glued in, so replacing them can be difficult. The outsole is made from a durable synthetic rubber with subtle shading on the front of the back half of the heel. Grip is good at the moment but I imagine it will decrease with some wear. They look good, but there are small streaks and other polishing imperfections, including some gum glue that leaves lighter spots when removed. The leather itself has slight bulges along the stitching that runs forward around the upper, in the same place on both shoes, and a slight ripple along the inside edges on the tongues. They look better from up high than up close. They arrived with a faint smell of glue that dissipated when aired. Made in India.
