actually works. something like

I was looking for a device that would convert my 20 year old amp (Yamaha) and 15 year old CD player (Sony) to a Bluetooth signal so I could play with my "oldies" can play. my business (separate garage) and don't have to run 70 feet of speaker wire both under and over the driveway. I also didn't want old speakers to just get by with Bluetooth (or both). Well, you have to have a 1/4" to 1/8" headphone adapter for that, because the old hardware had a 1/4" plug. No big deal, $5 for $10 at Revain. There aren't many detailed instructions , but be aware that you'll need to charge it for several hours before plugging it in. Pairing with your BT speaker can be frustrating, but I find that's true no matter what you're connecting to, it's good too knowing that if you want your old speakers to work, connect your device to the headphone jack on your CD player, NOT your amplifier. If you have any metal between your device and your BT speaker (like a metal chimney or your old Ford F150), you need a headphone extender to get around the obstacle, $16 at Walmart So if you like your old music you can have it anywhere within 100 feet (with strings) for about $70, without it everything on your phone rloading, and if you're like me, finding this thing can be tricky.
