Gave SLIK a chance, wasn't disappointed!

A few years ago, SLIK Tripods attended an event in Malibu and gave me a free t-shirt. I've been wearing it for years even though I don't own any of their products. I have always used Manfrotto, but over time using Manfrotto became very painful. One of the legs was incredibly difficult to bend, the legs folded inward when the tripod was raised, pinching my fingers, and even the tilt lock knob came loose. It's time to try something different and I'm so glad I gave SLIK a try. The SLIK Sprint Pro III is the tripod that dreams are made of. It's so easy to line up your shots with the ball head instead of messing around with extending your tripod legs to different lengths. It's incredibly light and big enough to put the camera right in front of my face (I'm 6ft tall). It's also very compact when the tripod is fully folded and comes with a carrying case. I could easily take this tripod on a hike or outdoor adventure without being uncomfortable with its size or weight. At the same time, it's equally strong and holds my A7III with a full camera without any issues. The quick release plate is smaller than I expected but I really like it. (See photo). The plate is incredibly tight and the camera doesn't rotate or shake. Finally, the gunmetal color looks very sexy. There are many tripod/camera support options but I would probably 10/10 buy this tripod again for adventure photography and vehicle photography. This is exactly what I was looking for.
