Review on OpenMTC by Mario Beaklini

The product has been very helpful in our project to create an application that will be used by farmers who have access via mobile devices (smartphones). It works with all kinds or sensors such as GPS/GPRS / GSM-modems; it allows us also connect different types microcontrollers like DSPs etc. I think its not free but you can use trial version which allow 100k messages per month without any problem if your plan does exceed this limit then u should buy additional credits from them so no problems here regarding pricing structure at least i didnt face anything yet! We are working together using openmtc platform we managed send data between two nodes through SMS gateway service provider.
