So far I like the lightbulb. It's shorter than the adult version of the LED lights but gives the kind of light I needed for my hood. It has the same base as a full-size LED bulb, but is shorter overall. The bulb that was burned out and replaced must have been a 15 watt bulb and it didn't really produce the amount of light I would expect from a stove. I can't yet say how effective it will be, but the amount of light I need to cook is worth the increase, if at all. I was leaning toward a 25 watt bulb, but I'm so glad I bought a 40 watt bulb instead. Thank you for reading and I hope this helps you in your decision to buy a cooker hood light bulb.
