Review on πŸŽ’ Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L Black - Versatile Sling Bag for Shoulder or Crossbody Carry (BEDS-6-BK-2) by Jason Wright

Nice shoulder or shoulder bag but could use some improvement!

I usually don't like shoulder bags, but I like this PD 6L. I really like the material and the color (dark blue). The 6L bag isn't too bulky but still fits my Nikon Z6 with Nikon Z 35 1.8S (or any other Nikon Z 1.8s or kit lens I have) but with the lens hoods removed. So I think this bag is perfect for a full frame mirrorless camera (like my Z6) with a center mounted Z1.8 Prime lens (or Nikon Z-Kit 24-70/4S). (I doubt Canon or Sony 24-105/4 will do.), + a lens hood in a side pocket, + EITHER a fixation with the lens hood flipped over OR a small flash (like my Nikon SB500) on the other side. If you want to leave two lens hoods on two Nikon Z Prime lenses, the zipper will be very tight and you may not be able to take your flash with you. I'm glad I ordered 6L instead of 3L. I assume 3L is only suitable for APSC or Leica Q mirrorless cameras. If you want to bring a body/lens along with two extra prime hoods (+/-) then I think you need to get 10L. Room for Improvement: Firstly, I wish the shoulder strap could be detached. The front pocket should be deeper and larger. It's difficult to put my iPhone 8plus or wallet in this pocket. Secondly, the partitions should be thicker and softer. I actually don't like the design of the PD splitters in all their products. I feel they are overworked but not very flexible for medium or large lenses. Hope that helps! Choosing the right size for the gear you want to take with you isn't always easy.
