The bed is comfortable. The cover is not chew proof. My 115 rotty is not a chewer but occasionally some smell within the bed made him want to pick it up & investigate. But overall a nice bed.BUYER BEWARE- The real issue that I have is after 1-2 year when I finally decided to buy him a new replacement cover, the manufacturer has changed the size of the bed. I ordered the same size (jumbo) and the cover came in 40x32, but my bed was 44x34. That's totally messed up. Part of the reason why I purchased the bed is because of the removable cover. Now this bed become useless with the cover too worn out. I have contacted the manufacturer, and am waiting for their response.*** Update: 1/5/2023 - The customer service at Furhaven was super helpful. They took care of me. A+ customer service. Will be buying from them again.
