My kids need a long cable to get to their bunk beds so they can read and charge their devices. The cable appeared to be well built, but I think you get what you pay for. We received it exactly 1 week ago. With light use in the evening before bed, one won't connect (i.e. charges) and the other will stop charging at the slightest smack. My son (whose cable no longer works) is again using a different brand 6ft cable that we have had for over a year. I think we will pay a little more for quality. I'm sending them back today. So is it worth buying? If all the sets were as we received them I would say no. Too bad. I liked the look and feel of the quality.
