I take a lot of photos and portraits for my books in a private studio. I use this product for attaching 5x7 muslin or light fabric backdrops. You can use standard clips you can find at any hardware store to attach a fabric or muslin backdrop to the crossbar. I find this product to be stronger and much more durable than the typical frames sold for photography. I really appreciate the fact that the support base on each side, aka the "legs", is vertical and streamlined and doesn't take up as much space as a typical collapsible umbrella base, since I use them in a professional photo booth space is limited. . I have several of these products and I use one as a towel holder to hold backdrops that are not currently in use and another to hold light suits on hangers. It really is an all-rounder with unlimited uses.
