YOU NEED A 10MM DRILL

I would say 3.5 but I can't give half a star so I'm giving it 4 because overall it does the job it was bought for, but has some inconveniences ( I mean it's cheaper than other options so that's to be expected). Used it to mount my child's 22" TV during a room renovation project. It comes with 2 large bolts but these bolts are not facing forward so you will need to use a socket wrench set. I don't remember the size on the top, but they are larger than regular screws. Luckily I had some from the car head set, that worked because otherwise it would be a lot more difficult. Make sure you have it! As for the "required" part, since it doesn't have a face, you can't use an electric drill, so you'll want to pre-drill a hole for you to screw into. I didn't have it. , so I sacrificed one of my crossheads to make a makeshift hole and then stuck the power through an outlet to let it pass. but having a drill press would make it a lot less stressful. It's taut, though, rotates fully as advertised and holds the TV well. There was no fear or concern about the TV falling, breaking the position due to bad screws, etc., so I'm happy with that. Just make sure you have a set of sockets (it has to be a small pin or I have one of those flimsy arm extensions as the gap between the screw and the arm is pretty small. Mine doesn't screw all the way in like I have them none of those extenders, but it's snug enough not to worry about it coming out. It's only about an inch from a full wall. If looks are as important as functionality, you'll also need a socket extender to keep that it fits in such a small space.)
