Review on OGRE3D by Wayne Seba

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Unbelievable engine and toolset, will always keep me coming

The ability for it to render large environments with little memory usage makes this game perfect even as far back into time when there were no games like Grand Theft Auto where they needed millions of polygons just to make one area look good/realistic!The fact you can switch between different cameras instantly also helps greatly while playing for example the first person view or third person view camera (in most cases). While having more than enough polys in my opinion the only thing i dislike really was how buggy it kept getting so maybe try other engines as well if your looking at using an open source type editor such as unreal instead? There are many features I have been able to use which has made development easier but some people don't understand what needs to be done sometimes since its not something you learn very easily unless working directly on projects yourself. In terms of rendering things out quickly we've seen huge improvements by making multiple instances run off.
