I work in animal rescue and this summer the temperature was well over 100 degrees. I wear long-sleeved shirts, but I can't always find one with a collar that protects my neck. I've decided on a sun protection product and I have to admit that the price was important. I saw this product and liked many features: (1) it is the most classic cut (-collar; safari design); (2) long sleeves with the ability to roll up and tie sleeves; (3) lightweight and ventilated on the back; (4) Space for my sunglasses and other item holders; (5) a variety of colors; (6) good prices. I was so keen to try it that I wore it straight out of the box to lunch - I looked like I'd unwrapped it myself, with all the creases in my blouse. It was 115 that day and this shirt was light, comfortable and didn't feel like a mixed fabric (which usually sticks when you sweat). But it's very light, so I put on a summer top under a white blouse. (May not be a problem with opaque colors like blue or green). I kept wondering how this light colored fabric can offer 50+ SPF? In any case, I am convinced. I will buy a few more colors. One more comment. I'm medium sized but always buy big when I want unlimited traffic. Thinking about my moves when working with animals I was tempted to go for the large size, but the size chart seemed to be pushing me towards the medium size. I took a chance and the medium turned out to be VERY roomy. It doesn't look like I'm wearing a man's shirt, but it's definitely larger than I expected.
