My daughter is 7 years old, she is tall and thin, mostly legs and a size 8 fits well. She liked her because of the torn knees, she looks like a rocker. Retained their color after multiple washes. We've had them for about 2 months or more. Now I always turn colored jeans inside out before washing them. But they don't fade or shrink, but I don't dry either, so I can't tell if you do.
