I like that the phone comes with Alexa support, but it requires a smartphone so you can add your new cordless phone to the list of Alexa powered devices. This saves time manually entering contacts on each phone as all are transferred from the smartphone's contact list. It takes a while to get used to accessing all of the phone's features as after selecting an option you have to use the left button instead. round button in the middle. This round button is for using Alexa. I find the screen a bit difficult to read, maybe it's just my eyes, but luckily the backlight on the screen and keyboard helps. I wish there was an indicator light on every standalone base you charge your phone on. It just sits there and doesn't do anything, and if you're unfamiliar with it you might think the phone is dead unless you actually pick it up and use the phone. The voice quality also seems to be good with our VOIP setup. It seems a bit weak on each of its charging stations, I just hope one of my cats doesn't accidentally knock it over. Overall we expected that. Definitely not for those who are not patient enough to learn new technologies.
