Not as soft as it looks
Although the bed is very soft, it is not as thick as shown in the photo on the website. The center is easy to level without dampening. Only one of my five cats has used it. You seem to feel unstable on it. I'm a bit disappointed with how fragile the center actually is. However, if it's on some other soft surface, it's probably a cozy sleeping area.
