I have four desktops connected to use as my home network. I bought this so I wouldn't have to buy multiple monitors. I can see all four processors on the same screen. A few things: 1. You can use a wireless mouse, but the reading is a bit strange, not too much, but don't try to do something that requires precise mouse movement. Wired mice are normal.2. You must have a keyboard with a numeric keypad or a separate numeric keypad as it reads all numbers from the numeric keypad, and you MUST have a * key to switch screens on the keyboard. You cannot use Shift+8. Also, it's not mentioned anywhere in the description or even in the manual, but it's possible to switch between all the screens when connected to multiple systems. JUST HOLD * AND PRESS S. You can switch between all your independent processors while quarterly showing them on the same monitor or on separate monitors without having to switch between them, which is really handy. I found this out by accident and it's not stated anywhere in the manual, description or website. The only other downside would be that if you have a programmed mouse or a fancy backlight like mine, it works by default. Glow setting when switching between systems. I haven't played around with it much to fix it, but that's what I've found so far. If you are planning to connect multiple systems and want something reliable, I would highly recommend this KVM.
