Review on ROBOTIME Dollhouse Emilys Flower DG145 by Mike Marks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A solid addition to the Robotime range

Great set. All the usual hallmarks of a good Robotime/Rolife product are present here - clear instructions, well labeled packaging, small but not boring components. In comparison to the same sets as a greenhouse, library or study, here's what I find: 1. There are MANY steps to this. It probably took me longer than the other kits due to the amount of detail. But the products you make are very varied, so you won't get bored easily. 2. More paint than usual (and a second tank of blue paint could have been added to the kit). Ladder parts are not supplied pre-painted.3. The scale is slightly off. The piano is too small compared to the TV and sofa. A little nitpick really though.4. Decent chance for personalization. I personalized the TV screen and images, and made my own decisions with the shelves and plant placement (and added a few extra plants I had from other boxes). This is my favorite part of the kit.5. I'm probably just bad at it, but I couldn't get the lights to work and ended up throwing them away. This often happens with these brands. I could basically use Beacon 3-in-1 glue, but I had to use hot glue to finish part of the wire. Before you begin I also need to make sure you have a blade handy as I had to widen some of the holes in the floor to fit the stairs. Overall I'd say this is a really good choice if you've made a few other kits and want something more dynamic and complex.
