I bought this because suddenly due to the pandemic I had to work from home and needed an external mouse that I could use in many different places around the house. It fits comfortably in any hand and is easy to use. If you haven't used a trackball before, it will take some time to get used to it. It's beautiful, precise and ergonomic. I love the media control buttons and use them more than I thought I would. I can't comment on its functionality as a gaming mouse, but I will say that I had a hard time using it for amateur photo editing as the trackball surface was a bit more difficult for ultra-precise clicks. I would give 4.5 if I could but had to deduct a full star because it was a bit more expensive than it is and it would be nice if it was rechargeable. It's nice that it comes with its own set of disposable batteries.
