Nice design but cheap and smelly. Looks good in the photo

Overall, I think these pillows are ok. I really wanted to love them but they definitely look better in pictures than in real life. I knew they wouldn't be great because they're so cheap, but they definitely look cheap in person. But they have a fun pattern and I really couldn't find any other pillows with a nicer or more expensive cover. MATERIAL: The description says linen, but it's definitely not real linen or any natural material. They feel and smell like some kind of synthetic yarn. The pattern is printed, not woven. BACK: When I bought it I knew the back was off-white and not patterned, but personally I'm much more concerned about that because from most angles you can always see that white cushion backing that adds a cheap look. Why can't they make them patterned on both sides? It would look MUCH better and I'd happily pay more for it. DESIGN: Finally I added a photo of the pattern difference between the listing photo and the actual pillow. I probably didn't see it in other people's photos before buying it, but that worries me too. The ad photo design looks so clean and pretty but the pillow has these little creamy squares on the top that don't exactly match the pattern in the ad photo and to be honest it's another disappointment. Anyway, overall I think these are nice temporary pillows that give a certain look if you decide to go for them. But I don't think they will last forever. I'm afraid to even wash them because they may shed or fall apart. They also have an unpleasant chemical smell. So I guess I'll have to send them back. Too bad because they're kinda cute. Hope that helps!
