First of all, Dorman products have been around for a LONG time and they are quite high quality. After installing this part, it may take some time to recode your car. A smoke test MUST be done first. Modern cars are not as simple as previous EVAP systems. You can no longer diagnose based on the code alone! I had no problems with mine, but after checking the smoke I also found a broken/cracked plastic pipe leading from the tank to the canister. Sooooo my advice, get some good technique first!
