USB C to Lightning is a tricky thing, without going into too much detail, there is a little Apple software that prevents many Apple devices from charging via the C to C cable. This thing is so handy! It bypasses all software protocols and charges perfectly no matter how powerful the USB-C box is. They also come in these handy key holders! In the USB-C world, I was very upset when work presented me with an iPhone. If you're not an Apple user, who the heck has Lightning cables? Luckily for me, this little guy lives on my keychain, and when my iPhone/iPad needs a little charging boost, I plug it into the end of the nearest USB-C cable and I'm good to go! Highly recommended for the tech lead who doesn't want to buy a lot of Lightning cables.
