I would have rated it higher if I hadn't bought it because it was supposed to be waterproof. Things inside weren't wet, but they weren't dry either. The bottom was less waterproof than the top. As long as I'm not out in the rain or in a boat, I'm fine. I liked the zippered pocket on the strap that I kept my phone and glasses in so I could reach them when I needed them. All zippers and straps were secure. The base is deeper than it looks so I was able to add a few extra things throughout the day and the backpack didn't feel heavy or uncomfortable. At first it was very wrinkled which would drive me crazy. , but after a few hours of use, the material softened and stopped wrinkling.
