This is great. they are soft and flexible. but not too big. Sayings are embroidered. a few badly cut threads, but I quickly cut them off. I bought this set as it came with straw, white and black. Color for every outfit and every mood. I live on the beach in Oregon. sometimes we have the sun - mostly it's the wind. The inner hat is adjustable to keep it on your head - two puffs that you tighten and tie. Could you fold and pack them. I think maybe. I put them on a hook by the door for easy access. I chose Hello Sunshine but thought long and hard about Ciao Bella. Even so, I don't hesitate to update my reviews when new information seems useful.
