The size chart suggest varied sizes can fit the large. I wear a 10/11 but have a small bulge and these pants did not have the best fabric for belly hide/tuck making them less flattering from a front view. But someone with a flat lower belly would look great. I am moderately pleased but have brought cheaper pants from Walmart or other retail venues and been more pleased. The color is beautiful and the fabric is soft so I like that. I would probably buy another cool color of these but I will be forced to wear a longer shirt when I wear them which is not pleasing but something I can deal with.
