We have a 9 month old Yorkie and when we first brought him home we tried to put him to sleep in a cage but couldn't so he slept in our bed between ours Pillow. In the end he decided he wanted to sleep under the covers which made it extremely difficult for my husband and I to sleep as we were afraid to turn over on it! We bought at least a dozen different pet beds and tried to find one he liked. Man saw it and bought it. We put him on the bed between us and the first night he slept right in front of the bed for a while and then he crawled in and curled up in a ball! Since then he starts the night outside and after 15 minutes crawls in, cuddles and goes to bed. He really seems to like it, and we like it because not only do we feel more secure now that he's sleeping in our bed, but now that he's in the "burrow" at night, he doesn't seem to hear the slightest sound and stays awake not up. . We bought a second one to keep downstairs to sleep in during the day and he and his little friend Yorkie from across the street are both fighting over who gets in! Highly recommended for small dogs.
