For the price I paid for it at the time, it was an economical, easy purchase - I liked the lavender color, I liked how it was small and I liked the ability to expand memory. Everything I want to get from a fruit company's music players. Unfortunately, five months later, this MP3 player won't turn on without being plugged into a charger and the battery is draining quicker than expected. It's not a complete building block, but for all the reasons I bought it - color, price, storage capacity, sound quality, and product life expectancy - it lowers the overall score for this player. If you need an inexpensive music player to listen to or use as a cache or to give to a kid, that's fine. Pros: Color, Expandable memory slot, Fairly easy navigation and file creation (if you're familiar with Windows/PC OS), Sturdy look/feel, Price Cons: Longevity, Audio quality without headphones, Touch menu sometimes freezes, sometimes the player is locked, the radio scanner didn't work for me, the sound system is not compatible with my car
