When I received the package, the whole inside of the package was covered with coal dust with another item. The box was ripped open at the corners, and the top edge of the first carbon disk I pulled out had broken off completely. I removed all of the individual packaging and there was enough coal dust at the bottom of the box to make another disc, apart from being a potential fire hazard (self-igniting) meaning the entire box would catch fire with enough friction. / Heat or sparks, the product itself works well and there is almost no smell from the disc itself when burning, which is good. The shipping and handling must have been poor, there were even small holes in the Amazon return bag.
