Review on Maybelline New York Define Makeup by Bill Pulakanam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The coverage is near perfect; Goes everywhere.

Spending a year trying out all sorts of brow fillers — and each of several brands — is about as close to perfection as you can get. And it's that simple. And it's so easy to take with you. Unfortunately, from the summer of 2018 to June 2019, I lost most of my brow hairs trying to find them, but that gives me some authority in comparison. The New York Brow Define + Fill Duo Light Powders fill in most of the missing areas and the pencil does the rest, basically filling and shaping the innermost parts of each brow. I think the shape might look better than I could ever get my formerly very thick brows. I need a medium brown to match what's left and my hair color, but I use blonde in light amounts until I get the right shade. One of the best things about this wand is that you can take it with you wherever you go. So if you don't hesitate to rub your eyebrows or clean your face or go away for a long time during the day, you can always refill. But otherwise, both powder and stick are enough for me from shower to shower. The color is also realistic, because no matter what else I tried in terms of brow pomade, mascara, gel, eyeshadow or crayon - even the lightest shades - the color came out either too dark or too inauthentic. I know there are women who have made some of these other products work. But I've found that they take a lot of practice and at least some of those requirements are an artistic touch; almost acrobatic skill; bucket of money; every day long in front of the mirror; separate bathroom for application and renovation; a great shoulder bag if you want to carry things. Nothing is perfect in makeup (or in life). But I'm giving this one five stars because it really suits my needs at a pretty good price. Any ideas what to do with a bunch of stuff I no longer need?!?
