Review on Evelots Microwave/Freezer Bowls: Convenient Food Storage Set with Lids - BPA Free Plastic, Set of 5 by Melissa Richards

I often use these bowls to cook vegetables in the microwave - saving my fingers from hot ceramic bowls. They're great for this purpose - you can carry them by the handle after microwaving without burning your fingers. The top is snug and has an opening (which can be closed, but why?) to allow steam to escape. So you also take care of the "overflow" problem in the microwave. But despite the fact that it says you can wash it on the top shelf of the dishwasher, I wouldn't. This is my second set as the first one was too badly damaged inside - maybe from the microwave but if it's a dishwasher then I won't risk it and the newer one is fine so far. This is my only caveat (they are very easy to hand clean - a little soap and water and the food just slides off) because I use them all the time (hence the second set). I haven't used them in the fridge yet.
